“A goal is not always meant to be achieved; many times, it serves as something to aim for.”
—Bruce Lee.
Goals don’t just serve to make you rich and famous. They’re also for improving your life.
When we have the victim mentality, we are driven by the past.
We regret our life, which has brought us to this present that hurts us.
To break this mentality, we must stop being pushed by the past and let ourselves be directed by the future.
Why?
Because the future is a goal, it can be broken down into steps, like a puzzle that you can build piece by piece (day by day).
If the pieces of that puzzle are rewarding, your life will improve even if you don’t even reach your goal.
I want to get a six-pack, and maybe I won’t achieve it, but to try to reach my goal, I go to the gym and eat healthily. Therefore, my life improves because I feel better doing sports and eating healthy.
Daily rule: If you want to improve your life, the first thing you have to do is to improve your goals.
