4 Signs You Are Growing, Even if You Feel Getting Smaller

#3. You have more and more questions and fewer and fewer answers.

Sometimes, the clouds prevent us from seeing the sun. But the sun is there, shining behind the storm. Sometimes the path is so hard that we forget that every step brings us closer to the goal, to the top of our mountain. Sometimes life is so confusing that no one can understand it.

So here are four signs that you are growing— Even if you think you are going nowhere.

1. You feel Small

One of the signs of growth is feeling small and overwhelmed. But that doesn’t mean you are—quite the contrary. The more you grow, the more humble you become and, therefore, the smaller you feel.

It’s like the paradox of knowledge: the more you know about something, the more aware you become of everything you don’t know.

That’s why feeling a bit small grain of stardust in the middle of the universe is perfectly normal.

2. Many people move away from you

You feel weird and disconnected. What used to make you laugh now hurts. You don’t want more alcohol, more tobacco, empty fun—no more superficial relationships.

And people notice. And many are not ready to join you on your new path because it’s not their time. So you look around and see less and less of those old friends.

And maybe you feel terrible, but…

It’s all okay. Don’t cling to those relationships out of fear; you are going through your spiritual awakening. Soon on this new journey, new people will appear: some will become companions, others family.

We are energy, and your energy is purifying itself, so it no longer connects with certain people who emit it in a negative frequency.

You are not losing friends; you are closing cycles and upgrading your life.

3. You have more and more questions and fewer and fewer answers

What was true is no longer valid. Certainties crumble daily, like an ancient Roman temple no longer serves. You no longer want formal, institutional answers; you no longer want propaganda.

Now you want the truth. And you are willing to go to meet it. And you do not mind the expenditure of energy and time this implies.

You have discovered that there are many truths, but you choose the ones that resonate with you, even if no one else understands.

You have learned that asking questions makes people who want everything to stay the same uncomfortable. You have learned that if you increase the quality of your questions, you often don’t need answers. You learned that everything was already in you.

4. From time to time, you need to stop, and that’s okay

You’re tired of controlling everything. You’re tired of competing with the rest. You’re tired of arguing with everyone. You’ve grown tired of being number one in the world and last to yourself.

And no, you’re not tired of fighting. But you need your time, your space.

You demanded too much of yourself, and that made you bad. Now you prefer to live a more organized life, even if that means being messy and disappearing from time to time for a walk without phones or the internet.

You are tired of limiting the universe and not letting it flow and fill your life.

You’ve grown tired, and that’s why you’ve transcended. You made peace with yourself, with that inner child that still believes in you but needs all your love and compassion.

It’s okay not to want more noise; it’s okay to let yourself be enveloped by peace and silently reconnect with yourself.
