“When a cycle closes, there are things you can’t stand anymore.”
Each stage of life brings new challenges and takes away old certainties.
Closing a stage is harvesting what has been learned and sowing a new field.
Closing a stage is both a loss and a gain.
That is why you lose friends, opportunities, or things but gain experience and freedom.
But we do not always know when we are closing cycles. So check these 5 signs to know if something new awaits you.
Let’s start.
1- You started purging yourself
You started purging yourself from destructive behaviors, bad companies, and crazy assumptions and beliefs that kept you stuck in a little life you didn’t fit.
You are creating new habits to get out of your hole.
You don’t match with shadow people anymore because you can’t deal with the toxicity. So you stopped normalizing the lack of moral values.
You’ve started to give up what’s holding you back. And that causes you to move away from where you are. You embrace the unknown. You close cycles and start a bright future, starting with your present and now.
2- You aren’t afraid to fail anymore
You finally understood what the founder of IBM said all those years ago,
“You want a formula for success? It’s quite simple: double your failure rate.” — Thomas John Watson.
You started forgetting your limitations because you knew that you deserved more.
3- You realize that life isn’t happening to you; it’s happening for you
And the most unsettling is that your life happens because of you.
You had the life you unconsciously thought you deserved. And because of that, you are upgrading yourself to achieve more because you want more because you are more.
Evolution is what you search for. And growth is what you’ll get.
4- You started having brand new recurrent thoughts
Many intelligent people say that humans have an average of 60k views per day and that most are negative and recurrent.
That is to say that we are always thinking about the same thing most of the time.
But for whatever reason, you stopped thinking about the same old things. You are no longer in the mood and no longer need them.
And that closes cycles but opens new ones.
Now you start to desire new things, think about how to achieve new goals, and fill your life with new experiences. And you will get it because anything in this universe is the materialization of a thought/desire.
5- You started saying NO a lot
When a cycle closes, there are things you can’t stand anymore, and you begin to say no out of the blue because you don’t give a shit if relationships end, projects are shipwrecked, and friendships drift away.
There is something in you that needs to breathe. That needs newness. That can’t stand so much shit anymore. That no longer shuts up. That finally learned to say NO to the things it doesn’t want to do.
There is something inside you that starts to choose itself. And that is the beginning of something new.
Because you need to experience more. You need to live more.
