#3. The universe takes you out of the race.
Life has shown me repeatedly that the universe sometimes gives you the opposite of what you want because that’s exactly what you need.
But accepting and trusting everything will work out isn’t easy.
Here are three subtle signs that the universe, despite seeming to be giving you nothing, is fine-tuning your life like a good mechanic.
Let’s start
1. The universe breaks your heart.
Sometimes you have to have a cannibal heart that feeds on your wounds so that after digesting them, you can fall in love again. — At least with oneself.
And if you look back, you will realize that you have just come through a jungle of problems. And it is normal that along the way, you have been hurt by some predator, stumbled and fallen more than once, and your body is wounded, and your soul is tired.
Normally, you don’t feel like walking.
I have been there.
I understand you.
I know what it’s like not to be able to go on.
But I also know that pain feeds us. And that, like a phoenix from your wounds, you will rise again.
But for that, the universe makes you lose relations and things so that you can feed on the pain of that loss and transcend it.
I know it sounds unsexy, but detaching yourself — even if it’s the hard way — from everything toxic surrounding your existence is the fastest way to achieve a much sexier and happier life.
2. The universe knocks you down a couple of rungs on the ladder of life.
You may have been laid off and only get jobs for which you are overqualified and don’t take them. And this can be a mistake.
Sometimes, when the universe redirects us to something specific repeatedly, it’s because there is a valuable lesson to be learned.
In my particular case, I’ve learned as much from unskilled work as from a university master’s degree.
It would be best if you were humble to learn. And many lessons you learn in the least suspected places are valuable as diamonds.
Think that it’s usually pride that drives you to rock bottom: addiction, selfishness, envy, etc.
A little humility is an antidote to putting your life back on track. And it will vaccinate you against ego so you don’t relapse again when you recover.
3. The universe takes you out of the race.
The universe can slash the tires on the car of your life so you can take a little break at the service area.
Why is that?
Because sometimes you live so fast that you no longer know where you are going.
As Paulo Coelho wrote in the book Maktub, “We have walked too fast, and we don’t even know what we are doing anymore. We have to wait for our souls to catch up with us.”
Where is your soul? Where did you leave your heart?
The universe will derail your hustle train when it wants you to take time to rethink yourself. To recover your soul.
Last words
Sometimes the universe seems to be putting you against the wall, but it does it to offer you the sword to fight for your dreams, and for sure, if you accept the challenge, you will get a sexy life.
