#3. Make a wish without using the appropriate metaphysical formula.
1. To be skeptical.
Skeptical: One who doubts or distrusts the truth, efficacy, or possibilities of something, primarily commonly held beliefs.
After years of studying the law of attraction, I have realized that it is like gravity: it continues to act even if you don’t believe in it.
If you always visualize yourself in the worst-case scenario, guess what?
You end up in the worst possible scenario!
In the words of the great Conny Mendez, “Fear and faith are the same force. Fear is negative, and faith is positive. Fear is faith in evil. That is, the conviction that bad things will happen. Faith is the conviction that what will happen is good or will end well.”
Elite athletes and high-performance professionals know this, so they do not allow themselves to doubt. Doubt cracks the dream and ends up corrupting your life and crumbling everything.
Lesson: visualize the best possible scenario so your brain can devise a plan to get you out of the hole. Since it will always be better than not believing you can get out of the hole and staying in it 🙂
2. Disregard my calling.
I had lived in hell for decades and settled into being the bad guy. But eventually, the universe made me hit rock bottom (yes, hell has rock bottom too).
And when that happens, you meet something you can call a “unified field,” “Universe,” “God,” whatever you want, but you can’t deny that it is there, at the bottom, to lift you (and to drag you down again if you disregard its call, again 🙂
Calling is commonly confused with a life purpose. The purpose of life is something you choose; the calling is something you have been created for. And therefore, it is before your existence.
Lesson: Once you understand this, you realize that when you follow that intuition that beats within you and you listen to the signs of the universe, mysteriously, people begin to appear to help you, and doors that take you right where you need to go to fulfill that calling.
You are unique; you were created for a specific purpose. Your life has a meaning and purpose that no one else can fulfill. So do not get distracted by what is supposed to be a success, and look within yourself what your heart cries out, and follow that path.
3. Make a wish without using the appropriate metaphysical formula.
Everyone starts using “prayer” type formulas to manifest their dreams.
- “Dear universe, I want a house with a pool, a million in the bank, and a sports car.”
Others use affirmations like this one from Jennifer Lopez,
- “I am open and receptive to all the goodness and abundance the universe offers me.”
After much trial and error, I’ve come to understand why it’s much better to use Jlo-type affirmations.
She doesn’t make demands on the universe. She makes herself available to receive. And it is essential to learn to let the universe help you. Not everyone knows how to receive.
She says “goodness,” which means that although she wants abundance, she doesn’t like it through misfortune.
When you ask for something, the problem is not that you don’t get it but that you get it wrong.
Example,
“Dear universe, I want to earn 10k dollars unexpectedly to go on vacation”.
And the universe, which is efficient and looks for the fastest way to materialize your desire, makes you have an accident and collect compensation for 10k 🙂
And you don’t want to spend 10K on a hospital holiday, do you?
Lesson: learn to ask and receive your wishes so they don’t turn against you.
Takeaway
I use a little formula from the Christian metaphysical tradition from the time of the Christian metaphysician Emmet Fox.
And I share it with you because I’m a nice guy 🙂
“I wish [Insert your wish]. In harmony for all the world and in accordance with the will of God/Universe. Under Grace and in a perfect way. Thank you God/Universe that you heard me”.
In this way, I avoid harming third parties with my dream and complicating my life by appealing to the grace and goodness of the universe.
Using this formula, what I ask for does not always happen, but nice things tend to happen to me, and I tend to think that if what I asked for did not happen, it’s because it would hurt me in some way, and the God/Universe take care of me by don’t send it to me.
A virtual hug
