#5. You need to forgive yourself.
Misfortunes never come alone.
There are seasons when you feel you are cursed, or someone has cast an evil eye on you. Seasons when you become the sinister double of King Midas, and instead of turning everything into gold, you turn it into poop.
It’s as if the universe has something against you.
I’ve been there more than once (let’s say I’m a repeat offender), and I’ve detected eleven things that sometimes the universe seems to be conspiring against you.
- You are visualizing things that are not for you or not the time for you to have them. Daddy Universe keeps them away from you so you don’t hurt yourself.
- You have yet to learn to walk and want to run. The universe does not like cheaters, and everything has a process. And if you like to look for shortcuts, the universe sends you back to square one in the game of life.
- The universe gets tired of you only being grateful for what it gives you when you apply the law of attraction and feel in possession of it. Then, when it comes into your life, you normalize it, stop being grateful for it, and start wishing for something else. (Note: if your power of attraction is blocked, try to be thankful for the things you have already manifested, and you will make peace with the universe 😉
- You think that synchronicity and signs are bullshit. Suppose you ignore the signals that the universe sends you. In that case, the universe sends them to you more intensely, in the form of misfortunes, to call your attention and redirect your path. Tip: don’t be so stubborn.
- You need to forgive yourself. The universe does not help resentful people. The universe does not allow you to move forward if your emotional burden is heavy. It leaves you on standby until you process all that pain and free yourself. And for that, it puts your life on hold.
- You are an old soul. The universe, like Mr. Miyagui in Karate Kid, can’t make it as easy for you as it does for those just starting out. That’s why your life seems so complicated compared to everyone else’s. You are competing to win the black belt, not the yellow belt, dear Daniel San.
- You are too comfortable in your comfort zone. The universe does not want you to be bored. The harvest is plentiful, and the laborers are few. So when it sees you bored and dominating your video game screen, it sends you more chaos and entropy to process. The universe is like a boss who pays you by the hour and doesn’t want you to sit still; he wants to maximize your performance.
- You are emotionally unavailable, and the universe can’t connect with you as it would like to. So, it takes away things that anesthetize you, so you will listen to it again.
- Because you spend the whole day angry. And the universe knows that when you have a tantrum, you don’t listen to it. You can’t because your tantrums prevent you from hearing the subtle sound of the universe. That’s why the universe seems to forsake you (even though it sends you signals in the hope that you’ll see them). — You need to sort out your affections and calm down so you can listen to the voice of the universe and know what it wants from you and how it will help you.
- Karma is the universe’s way of rewarding or punishing us as attentive parents. How will we learn if the universe only indulges us and does not reprimand us when we do it wrong? If this were the case, there would be no spiritual evolution, and we would all become repellent, spoiled, and pampered children instead of responsible adults. The universe rewards, but it also punishes; remember that.
- Sometimes, the universe just tries to show you how much entropy you can withstand. That’s why it sends you storms so that you get the certainty that you are more powerful than you think.
In the end, when the universe hits you many times, you realize that it is preparing you to get that promotion, to meet that special person; it is qualifying you for a life that you are not yet qualified for, but if you are patient, you will have it because the universe only wants your well being.
