#11. Solitude tells you the truth.
Highly spiritual beings know the secrets of solitude.
That is why divine beings since ancient times have sought solitude to take advantage of its benefits.
- Jesus spent 40 days in the desert.
- Buddha meditated under a tree for a whole week.
- Lao-Tse lived his last days as a hermit.
What are these secrets?
Here is a short list of them, which you will already know if you are a highly spiritual person or divine being,
1. Solitude = Intimacy = Dignity
Imagine going to the bathroom in front of everyone; how would you feel?
Like an animal, right?
Divine beings know that human beings need solitude to achieve intimacy.
And they understand that intimacy is part of what makes them human. Dignity is something inherent in the conscious soul.
2. Solitude increases the level of consciousness.
Divine beings know that complexity is cumulative.
A problem X cannot be solved with a degree of consciousness X because it would not be a solution but part of the problem. And much less with a consciousness X — 1, which would aggravate the situation.
Divine beings know that problems are solved with a higher consciousness than the problem: X + 1 or higher.
And that is why they seek solitude, to increase their consciousness (that is why so many technological engineers meditate).
3. Solitude facilitates social encounters and empathy.
I know it sounds contradictory, but the unspiritual human avoids solitude so as not to hear his lament.
On the other hand, the divine being seeks solitude to listen to his lament and to know what worries or hurts him. In doing so, he has a eureka moment in which he realizes that all humans have the same pains and anxieties he is experiencing.
Upon his return, this develops his empathy and allows him to operate more functionally in society.
In solitude, the divine being searches for himself and finds himself with the rest. However, in the crowd, he gets lost and separates himself from the rest by pretending to be who he is not and hyperindividualism.
4. Solitude eliminates noise
The divine being seeks solitude to eliminate 80% of the information that entered him through the senses and keep the 20% that helps him on the way.
5. Solitude nourishes the desire to be with your loved ones.
The divine being knows that he needs periods of distance.
Because distance feeds the desire to be with the other.
On the contrary, spending too much time with the others generates rejection.
Moreover, it is the distance that allows you to listen to your needs and those of others by moving away from the focus of the emotional noise that occurs in all environments and types of social relationships.
6. Solitude is the mirror of the soul
The divine being withdraws from the world and seeks solitude to escape the hamster wheel.
He does not seek to be the best to stand out. And it does not seek to stand out to be noticed. It does not need the world’s validation to feel that it exists.
He only needs the echo of solitude to see himself. He knows that that echo from his inner voice is a clear mirror that gives him back an image of himself without distortion.
7. Solitude prepares you for life
The divine being seeks solitude to face his shadow and overcome his demons because he knows that if he learns to control his desires and becomes self-sufficient in his privacy, he will not fall into the world’s temptations upon his return.
8. External solitude allows you to cultivate inner solitude.
The divine being knows how to distinguish between external and internal solitude.
He uses external solitude to cultivate internal solitude.
And when inner solitude is in good shape, he uses it as a refuge when surrounded by people in high-stress situations.
Internal solitude helps him to be less reactive and, therefore, less influenced. And interact socially from a higher level of consciousness.
9. Solitude removes veils
The divine being knows that the world of form exists only in his mind.
Because the external world is a mental representation of the data that enters any person through his senses.
That is why they isolate themselves periodically to organize all the entropy and chaos that enter through their senses. That is why they pray, meditate, and attend spiritual retreats.
To have a better life, a more coherent and organized one.
10. Solitude is the portal that connects you with the universe.
Spiritual beings know that they can channel messages from a universal source. But for that, they have to connect their heart with the universe. And for that, they need to listen to the music of silence.
They learn to hear that melody, which connects them with the infinite wisdom of human beings throughout the ages. And they can channel it on their return to the world.
11. Solitude tells you the truth
Spiritual beings know that people lie to each other constantly because even when they want to tell the truth to others, they do it influenced by the look of the other.
However, in solitude, away from the expectations of others and the conditioning of their looks, the individual being can stop deceiving himself and listen to the sincere words that come from his heart.
Spiritual people can discover in their solitude those painful things that we all have to face and no one dares to recognize.
That is why when a spiritual being gives you advice, it reads your mind. Because loneliness gave him the ability to tell you what you do not dare to say out loud but is eating you up inside.
But all this, if you are a highly spiritual person, surely you already know 😉
