#3. You have some special gift that makes you one with the universe.
Today, my mother and I met a famous Spanish mystic painter at a painting contest.
And upon greeting him, he gave us a Gaudi-style talk.
He talked about spirituality, immortality, conspiracy theories, and false prophets.
After an hour of conversation, as we walked away from him, my mother said, “He is getting crazier and crazier.”
And I tried to explain to her that he was not.
What is happening is that he is a highly spiritual person.
And in doing so, I have realized that people like him (highly spiritual) are often labeled as crazy when they are not.
That is why I want to share with you three signs that I have clearly seen during the conversation with the mystic painter so that if you identify with any of them, you will realize that there is nothing wrong with you but that you are probably a highly spiritual person or a budding mystic artist 🙂
1. You see reality from another place.
To explain the painter’s intensity to my mother, I asked her to imagine herself explaining to a dolphin (if a dolphin could talk) what it’s like to see in color.
The dolphin wouldn’t understand because dolphins see in black and white.
This happens with highly spiritual people; they live their lives on another side of the spectrum.
Metaphorically, they see in color, while most see reality in black and white.
That is why highly spiritual people believe in signs, have presentiments, and are affected by the vibrations that people emit.
Highly spiritual people live in a plane of reality that most people only inhabit on certain occasions or by consuming some substance that alters their perception.
If you are highly empathic, feel the vibrations that people emit, and believe in the signals because life has shown you that the universe sends messages, you are likely a highly spiritual person.
2. You know that people are programmed
Highly programmed people have atrophied imagination muscles and live a productive life but well below human potential.
And highly spiritual beings know this.
During the talk, the painter looked into my mother’s eyes and said, “Stop watching TV, and all that anger I notice in your aura will disappear.”
The painter looked at my mother intently, trying to help her. Or, in the painter’s words, “Trying to light the torch of her soul.”
However, my mother ignored his comments and tried redirecting the conversation to ask him about his children and wife.
The painter did not get angry and continued with his spiritual monologue.
At one point, when it was obvious that people were milling around us to listen to his eccentric comments in the middle of the gallery, the painter said, raising his voice, “I’m the crazy one, right? But then millions of people pray to a stone or wooden statue, and those are the sane ones.”
Boom!
Suppose you’ve begun to realize that people label you as a weirdo without seeing the beam in your eye and that they behave like programmed automatons. In that case, you’re a highly spiritual person. You are a highly spiritual person.
3. You have some special gift that makes you one with the universe.
It may be writing, public speaking, active listening, or painting. You may be an empathic person. You may have the gift to be in the right place at the right moments for other people.
If you have it, you know what I’m talking about.
The mystic painter explained to my mother that the whole pictures of the contest were crap.
She said, “What’s the point of making a hyper-realistic painting if you can take a picture of what you paint and the result is the same? The substance has to enter you, transform inside you, and then paint the result. That is creating. The other is copying from reality.
Artistic judgments aside, he wanted to explain that everything is made of the same substance and that, through contemplation, you can realize it.
And it is then when the whole enters you, and you into the whole, and it blends.
And that is what life is about, that mixture, that union of our self with nature, to form a single substance. In your case, manifest it in the form of a pictorial work.
In your case, manifesting the input data (experiences of reality) with your gift in whatever its final format: novels, talks, empathizing, etc.
Your gift transmutes your intention, your emotions, and your matter into one and the same thing.
It unifies everything. It endows it with beauty. And it creates reality. It makes you feel that you are part of the universe and that the universe, in turn, is part of you.
And if this kind of thinking resonates with you, it may be because you are highly spiritual and have not yet realized it.
