#6. What you fear most comes true.
Life has taught me repeatedly that everything happens for a reason.
Even tragedies.
The Universe doesn’t play dice. — Although sometimes it may seem so.
In the words of Ovideo, “Ludit in humanis divina potentia rebus.” (In the human plays the divine omnipotence).
The Universe has everything tied up and well tied up.
But sometimes, its signals tend to make our hair stand on end. And we think that everything is going to shit when we are about to receive beautiful things.
Here are eight signs so that when they appear, you learn to look on the bright side: your life will change (and, in most cases, for the better).
- The lucky break. A stroke of luck grants you what you’ve been looking for for long. But you discover that it doesn’t make you happy. You feel disappointed and apathetic, but when this happens, you don’t have to see it as a tragedy. It is usually a message from the Universe that it wants you to save time and energy and stop obsessing about goals you think you want but won’t make you happy.
- People have forgotten about you. Your friends stop calling you. All kinds of misunderstandings and setbacks start to occur, and you slowly but progressively drift away from your inner circle. Don’t be sad. Indeed, the Universe is making room to fill your life with new and wonderful people who will help you reach the next level. Don’t be troubled by silence; as Euripides said, “Silence is the first response of wisdom. “
- You have x-ray vision. You can see the intentions that people hide behind their words and actions. This grace is a sign from the Universe, which wants you to be convinced that you are in the wrong place with the wrong people.
- A meteorite destroys everything. The Universe turns your whole life upside down. It does it all at once and without mercy, with a single event that I call a “meteorite”: you get fired from your job, your partner leaves you for someone else, you lose your savings, etc. The Universe burns your bridges, and you have to wake up. It’s excruciating, but remember that no one died because they had to start from scratch. And, believe me, when time passes, you discover that the meteorite was the best thing that could have happened to you.
- You feel out of place. This sign is unsettling; no one wants to feel alone and rejected. But sometimes, getting lost makes you find yourself. Losing yourself is a powerful signal. In doing so, the Universe sends people and situations to look for you, find you, and redirect you to the life you deserve.
- What you fear most comes true. You end up in the worst possible scenario. At first, you perceive it as a season in hell, but it’s not. Hitting rock bottom is only suitable for one thing: propelling you upward. (I hit rock bottom, and at the bottom was God. I don’t expect you to believe me, but hitting rock bottom saved my life).
- Your life becomes very wild. At first, it’s kind of unsettling. It feels like going 300 km/hour on a roller coaster without a seatbelt. But eventually, you understand that you can’t achieve extraordinary goals by having an ordinary life. So stop expecting to have an everyday life and embrace uncertainty for what it is- a sign from the Universe that you’re on the right track.
- Things don’t happen. You try and try, but that door you want to open doesn’t open. You keep trying, and the door disappears. You try to look for a window to slip through but can’t find one. You feel desperate. Until one day, you give up and knock on another door, and it opens the first time. You now understand that the door you were obsessed with was not yours. And that it didn’t have to open. And you thank the Universe.
