Maybe you think you know why, but you don’t.

Peace is a GPS, a GPS for your life.

I bet you never thought of it that way.

Here’s how it works.

You usually know what you have to do.

  • Study or go out with friends.
  • Work hard or be a lazy bear
  • Be a good partner or cheat your couple.

In the three scenarios, the first choice is the good one.

You know it because it is evident. And it is obvious because you have to choose between a good thing and a wrong one. But what about choosing between two or more good things?

  • Two possible partners.
  • Two good-paying jobs.
  • Vacation in Mauii or Thailand.

Here is where our GPS comes in.

You have to choose the option that makes you feel more inner peace. Eventually, if you don’t, you’ll start to feed your mind with anguish, stress, and fear.

Why?

Because everything degenerates, even the supposed “good decisions,” and if you do not choose between two good things, the option that brings you more peace, eventually you will start to think about the famous “what if” and from there to anguish, stress, and fear there is a small step, believe it or not.

And fear is poison. And you don’t want to poison your life, do you?

Here is the big question

Have you ever wondered why people drink, smoke, do drugs, watch TV for hours, or eat junk food compulsively?

And here is the short answer: to feel peace.

It is the wrong way, but it works as long as you consume what you are addicted to.

The problem is that addiction destroys you.

I used to smoke 90 cigarettes per day.

Why?

Because I tried to escape from the stress with the wrong tool.

Do you want to live a better life?

Find whatever makes you feel at peace, and stop searching for happiness because happiness is the product of peace. Use the GPS of inner peace to choose wisely in your life.

If you don’t, you’ll fill your life with stress. And that has consequences

  • Heart disease.
  • High blood pressure.
  • Diabetes.
  • Sleep disorders.
  • Depression.
  • Anxiety attacks

Make yourself the best gift.

Learn to say no to everything you don’t want in your life and the people you don’t want to see.

How to do it: Start fasting.

Start by fasting anxiety, then continue by fasting bad decisions, and finally include fasting from people who make you uneasy. So do this, and your life will improve.

You don’t have to prove anything to anyone.

  • Stop going to events you don’t feel like going to.
  • You are no longer spending time with people who take away from you.
  • Stop pretending to be friendly with people who only seek you out when they need something from you.

Enough!

Change your mind

Nothing is more potent than a renewed mind. And put in this new mind this first,

Every action has consequences.

So,

  • Avoid conflicts.
  • Don’t argue.
  • Change judging to accepting.
  • Walk away from things that displease you.
  • Invest your time in the things you love.

Start choosing wisely; often watch your inner GPS; Let the feelings of peace drive the car of your life.

If you do it, you’ll go much further than you ever imagined.

Moral

Seek peace in everything you do because bitterness rots your gifts, which can destroy your future. Read it again.

A virtual hug
