4 Powerful Thoughts for Not Wasting the Day

1. You cannot manufacture “happy days”.

Every day that passes is one day less, one day closer to the graveyard, one day farther from the vigor of youth.

You can’t waste your precious time in anger. It’s not worth it.

Waiters know they’ll encounter at least a few rude customers daily, but that doesn’t stop them from doing their job.

You can’t manufacture happy days.

You must accept life as it comes, with its ups and downs.

Every morning, look in the mirror and repeat to yourself, “I have 24 hours to make my life, and my peace is non-negotiable. So, I will not allow the opinions of others to rob me of my calm.

2. Don’t be a hypocrite

We judge Will Smith for what he did at the Oscars, but we argue with our partners daily.

We judge those unaware of climate change but throw plastics in the organic waste bin when no one is watching.

We criticize the rich and buy clothes without ensuring they are made without exploiting children in the third world.

Conclusion: if you want to change the world, start by changing yourself. Because you will not be able to change others, but if you change yourself, your example will make miracles in your environment.

3. Don’t choose the difficult path

An old mountaineer once told me: “You can climb the mountain by two types of routes, the easy one and the difficult one. Choose the first one if you want to get to the top alive”.

We make it very difficult.

We all have responsibilities and tasks that we would rather not do, and yet we do them.

It’s up to you to get bitter while you do them or do them with enthusiasm.

But just think, all work costs you twice as much when you complain.

So, don’t choose the hard way. Choose the easy way (not complaining): it takes you alive to the top.

4. Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today.

All we have is the now. And that’s where the magic happens.

You want to undertake a project: do it today.

You want to tell someone you like: do it today.

If you want to spend more time with your family, do it today.

Because tomorrow may be too late.

Life doesn’t give second chances.

Take advantage of the one you have today.
