A Lightworker is someone who illuminates the darkness. So simple and yet so complicated.
When one decides to be a lighthouse so that many will not be shipwrecked in the storm, one has to be aware that it is a thankless and challenging path.
Only true spiritual warriors are capable of being true Lightworkers.
Here are five signs that you are a true Lightworker and your light level is rising.
1. You gain self-control
You screw up less and less. You have learned to listen, meditate and then speak. It’s not like before; you are not so reactive. Of course, you are still an impulsive person; you are human. But now you know how to restrain yourself. And that gets you into less trouble. Self-control helps you find practical solutions behind all the drama and victimhood. And it’s a gift you share with those who ask for your help. Your light guides, but your calmness inspires.
2. You now speak from experience, not just from intuition
Yesterday you were 20 years old, and in the blink of an eye, a decade or two passed. And now you have something extraordinary, what pilots call accumulated flight time. You’ve been playing this game called life for a long time, and you’ve learned the hard way. Your knowledge is valuable, but your experience is more practical because you know firsthand your actions’ consequences.
3. You go against the grain: you live a slow life.
You live in a world full of entertainment and people with little attention span. A world that worships quick success. If it’s not fast, it’s not worth it. Everyone is looking for shortcuts. But you take a long way. You know that sooner or later, most people will feel empty and bewildered. It’s not about getting to the top of the mountain; it’s about enjoying the trails and nature as you climb it. So you chose to enjoy the process, inspiring those who come to you to see that another, more peaceful lifestyle is possible.
4. You don’t argue as much
It’s not that you don’t care about what’s happening in the world. But you have learned not to judge. And above all, to wait for each person’s moment. For you, as a lightworker, there are things that you see, like that materialism is a distraction, and that hatred and envy, never bring anything good. But you also know that each person is in their chapter in the book of life. And you do not turn away from those who ignore you, but you no longer try to convince them of anything. You know that sooner or later, their time will come, and they will approach you.
5. Your old ghosts are now your friends
The emotional wounds that made you bleed so much spiritually have finally healed. And now those scars are gold. A treasure capable of helping anyone who comes to you badly wounded by your old ghosts. Now you can help the addict because you have taken power away from your addictions. Now you can help the one who suffers from lovesickness because you finally internalized that we don’t own people. Now you can talk about your old demons without feeling ashamed, and that is a gift for those who listen to you because they realize that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
