The secret of life is…

The secret of life is to look at the past without resentment, accept the present, and trust in the future.

The secret of life is not to complicate it too much.

To understand that what happened happened.
To understand that what is, is.
And to accept that everything comes when it has to come.

You don’t have to force it.

You can do your part and sort out some of the chaos surrounding you.

Look, life is like a Rubik’s cube with disordered faces.

Putting each face back in its color is the point, but you will only do it if you are dare to make a mistake.

You will have to try one combination after another until you put the cube back together again.

Another way to look at life is like a video game.

Imagine a video game where your mission is to find a magic key that unlocks your dreams.

There is only one magic key, but the screen you play on is full of boxes.

And you will have to open almost all of them (unless luck smiles on you) until you find the key.

You will find pleasant surprises in some boxes, but not the key.

You will find unpleasant surprises in other boxes, but not the key.

The trick is, don’t get too attached to the nice boxes and don’t get paralyzed with fear with the nasty ones so you can find your key before the game ends.

So my unsolicited advice today is…

Don’t get anxious. Go at your own pace (slowly but surely), and don’t spend too much time on the bad or the good. Don’t stretch the gum. Let each moment last as long as it has to last. Keep looking for your key. I know you’ll find it in the end.
