The Disturbing Theory About Potential Futures That Will Blow Your Mind

And the relation with your manifestation power.

The only thing that does not change is the changing nature of the world.

That premise has led me to think of the following disturbing theory.

Theory: Nothing can move from state A to state B if state B does not exist.

Visualize your favorite mug (mine is Spiderman).

There is a version of your favorite mug (state A) that is broken (state B). If that version did not exist, it could not be broken (the process of moving from state A to state B).

But although there are many ways to break your cup, they produce different results.

Throwing your mug off your desk onto the floor is not the same as climbing the Empire State Building and throwing it into the street.

In the first scenario, it will likely break into three pieces (state B3), and in the second scenario, into hundreds of small ceramic pieces (state B100).
Thus, there is a wide range of futures.

All futures exist at once.

For your cup to break, there has to be a future in which the cup is broken.

The tricky thing is to know what set of actions will lead to a concrete result, for example, to get the cup to break into seven exact pieces (State B7), because there are many variables at play: material of the cup, strength, height, temperature, the size of the elephant sitting on top of your breakfast 🙂

However, there are people capable of repeatedly producing accurate results on practically anything.

  • Rolling double sixes with dice.
  • Hit a triple backward.
  • Throw a dart blindfolded and hit the bullseye.

And while training the same action repeatedly until you get the desired result helps, skill isn’t everything.

The power of flow states

I remember the first time I won a poker tournament in person.

A feeling inside me connected me with the desired potential future (the cup broken into exactly seven pieces): winning the tournament.

That feeling carried me like a dry leaf descending a river moved by the current to the sea (to win the tournament).

I did what I had to do in every move of the game during the weekend the competition lasted, and I managed to win that tournament.

I was completely connected to something (or directed by something), some intuitive intelligence that made everything flow naturally.

The power of fear vs. the power of love.

Fear and love are opposite sides of the same coin.

Both sides (fear and love) make your manifestation power increase.

Note: understanding the power of manifestation as the ability to produce the desired future (State B).

The power of fear

  • “I just washed the car. It’s sure to rain.”
  • “Today is a great day; I’m sure some customer will f*ck it.”
  • “I haven’t seen [Insert the name of a person you don’t want to see] in a while; I’m sure I’ll run into him on the street.”

The power of love

  • “I just met the love of my life. I don’t know why I know, but I know.”
  • “That job is for me. Even if they interview more people, it’s mine; I know it.
  • “Today will be my lucky day; I’m sure I’ll find parking the first time.”
  • I know that today is the day I will win the tournament (my case).

Certainty increases the power of manifestation.

All the above thoughts of fear or love have something in common: they are born of a subconscious certainty that leaves no room for doubt.

Consequently, our reality is transformed (the exact process is given) so that there is concordance between the present (State A) and the decreed future (State B), causing us to take the necessary actions intuitively supported by our ability for that future to materialize.

Doubt bogs down the process.

Doubt is what keeps you from achieving the goals you think you desire.
And doubt comes from inner conflict.

You think you want something, but deep down, you don’t want it, so you subconsciously self-sabotage yourself. Reread it.

I used to go to the gym because I thought I wanted to have a six-pack, but secretly, I was satisfied that my belly didn’t prevent me from seeing my feet 🙂

I never got the six-pack because subconsciously, I didn’t want to pay the price of having perfect abs: no ice cream, no pasta, and spending my life running around like Forest Gump.

But the important thing is that there is a potential future where I have a beautiful six-pack.

The future you dream of exists.

As disturbing as it sounds, there is a potential future (state B) where you already have what you want.

  • There is a future where you are rich.
  • There is a future where you are with the partner of your dreams.
  • There is a future in which you are happy.

But the opposite is also true.

  • There is a future in which you have no money.
  • There is a future in which you are alone.
  • There is a future in which you are unhappy.

That’s why it’s so vital that you stop doubting and settling, or you will end up in a worse future than the one you could opt for.

Takeaway

There is a future version of you for everything.

Ergo, there must be a version of you that has achieved what you want. Just as there is a version of you that has it more screwed up than you think you have it today. And the whole range of potential futures in between.

All future states are potential but actual. They have to exist so that whatever happens in the future, you can embody them.

So put your heart into your dreams, because they are not only probable: they exist as potential futures waiting for you to embody them.

A virtual hug
